Terms of Service
Effective Date: January 01, 2026
By using the services of Pet Grooming Studio Inc., you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Vaccination Requirement
All pets must be up-to-date on required vaccinations. Proof of vaccination may be requested at any time.
2. Pet Health Disclosure
Owners must disclose any known medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or behavioural issues prior to grooming. Failure to disclose such information releases Pet Grooming Studio Inc. from liability related to those conditions.
3. Aggressive or Dangerous Pets
We reserve the right to refuse or stop services if a pet displays aggressive behaviour that poses a risk to staff or other animals.
4. Matted Coat Policy
Pets with matted coats may require additional grooming time, special handling, or shaving.
Additional charges will apply depending on the severity of matting.
Shaving matted coats may expose pre-existing skin conditions, irritation, or minor cuts. Pet Grooming Studio Inc. is not responsible for skin irritation, redness, or other issues resulting from the removal of severe matting.
5. Fleas and Parasites
If fleas or parasites are discovered during grooming, additional cleaning fees may apply. We may refuse service if infestation is severe.
6. Senior and Medically Fragile Pets
Grooming senior pets or pets with medical conditions is done at the owner’s risk. We will take reasonable precautions but are not responsible for complications arising from pre-existing conditions.
7. Accidents and Injuries
Although every precaution is taken to ensure your pet’s safety, grooming tools are sharp and minor nicks, cuts, or abrasions may occur. Pet Grooming Studio Inc. will not be held liable for minor injuries that occur despite reasonable care.
8. Emergency Veterinary Care
In the event of an emergency, we will attempt to contact the owner immediately. If the owner cannot be reached, we are authorized to seek veterinary care at the owner’s expense.
9. Payment Policy
Payment is due at the time services are completed. Prices may vary depending on coat condition, behaviour, and time required.
10. Cancellations and No-Shows
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future appointments.
11. Photography and Social Media
Pet Grooming Studio Inc. may take photographs of pets before, during, or after grooming.
These photographs may be used for promotional purposes, including social media, website, and marketing materials.
If you do not wish for your pet’s photo to be used, you must notify us in writing. .
12. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
